Trying something new this week with a simple movie in which I pour a Grand River Russian Gun Imperial Stout, illustrating all the moments between an empty glass and snifter full of delicious beer. This was the first Russian Gun of the season for me and it was bursting with flavour – a rich chocolate, licorice notes and a nice lingering bitterness all wrapper together by a luxuriously creamy body. There a few left in Toronto and most major cities, so grab a few if you haven’t already. Now only to the traditional visual stimulants!
