I got a bit of good news on Thursday, so there was a mini-celebratory beer. My second bottle of Dieu du Ciel Corne du Diable was possibly even better than the first, as I was a little more patient in drinking it and gave it time to warm up. The bitterness gave way to a nice citrusy taste, all of which is balanced by a nice malt background. This is not just a really great IPA, but a really great beer. (The only downside: my camera has a hard time getting the label in focus!)
Today: 341mL. Year-to-date: 22.52L.
