My initial hope was to wait three months before having another go at a Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, but that didn’t happen. (Patience is over-rated.) It has been a month and a half since my first taste, but the alcohol is already starting to feel more integrated (though this could due to my adjusted expectations, not aging of the beer). The chocolate really gets overwhelmed by the dark fruit flavours, which isn’t a bad thing (unless you’ve purchased it for the name). Very silky and smooth, in a way that feels oh so gluttonous. Can’t wait to see how this continues to evolve!
