I’ll be honest: this is being written on a Saturday and all of my Belgian beer material has been used up for the time being. Even if there was something great and profound to say, it wouldn’t be wasted on a Bornem Tripel. It pours a nice, hazy orange, but the is too sweet on the palate: green apple, bubblegum. The spicy Belgian yeasts are muted in the background, leading to a mildly dry finish with a strong presence of alcohol. Overall, a middle-of-the-road tripel.
