Right now I’m having a hard time writing an intro for the Schneider Aventinus Weizen-Eisbock, so please excuse the lack of structure to this post. This is an absolute beast of a beer, which is to be expected when you take an already strong beer and remove some of the water, almost creating a beer concentrate. One bottle is enough to knock the socks off an amateur drinker. The strong flavours of cloves, bananas, spices and toffee do a great job of masking the alcohol. Just be careful on the pour, as this can get away from you quickly. Then be transported to paradise.
