You don’t often catch me raving over lagers, but the Christoffel Nobel is a rare exception. Most of this is thanks to two words, dry and hopped, which is enough to inspire wet dreams in the minds of beer geeks. The clean lagered qualities really help bring out the grassy hops and accents the lemon flavours quite nicely. The carbonation isn’t overwhelming and the bitter finish makes me keep going back for another sip. A really easy drinker for 8.7% ABV, this beer will hope up well through the Summer. And with that, the balance has tipped back in favour of the Spring release.
