A short and sweet Tuesday post, mainly because I had homebrew last night and not many people will care what I thought about it (unless you also traded with my friend and got loads of beer in return for an Ola Dubh 40). If CAMRA were in my house, they would have slapped a “real ale” label on this bad boy of an IPA – there was probably two bottles worth of yeast floating at the bottom. Lots of fragrant hops with just enough malt to balance out the grapefruit and pine. The finish lingers nicely. A bit thin, but that’s to be expected from a bottle conditioned IPA. Just like having some cask ale in my own house!
