Toronto is in the middle of a heat wave and all I keep seeing in my fridge are the dark beers (doppelbocks, robust porters, imperial stouts) that are too strong and malty to drink right now. The stash of refreshing pale ales, wheat beers and saisons decreases as the humidex rises (as does my willingness to go outside and restock my fridge). It’s the vicious cycle of summer.
